Improv Marathon with We're From Here, Popular Science, and ShawnMikael(s)

We're From Here
This faced-paced, hard hitting trio of ladies takes the audience on a wild ride during every show. Using transformations the three improvisers seamlessly discover a world based on the single suggestion of a location. Gender, age and nationality are boldly explored in each show. These ladies don't forgive, don't forget, and don't disappoint. We're From Here have been frolicking on-stage together since 2008. They have performed at various festivals throughout North America, including the Toronto Improv Festival, Boston Improv Festival, Charleston Comedy Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta and Out Of Bounds in Austin, TX.

ShawnMikael(s)
A two-man long-form improvisational show that has yet to comprehend its own limits. It combines the talents of two of the DC improv scene’s veteran improvisers: Mikael Johnson, a mainstay at Washington Improv Theater, and Shawn Westfall, exclusive teacher of improv comedy at the DC Improv and also the founder and creative director of bright young things.
Both actors frequently populate their scenes with multiple characters and jumps in time and space while maintaining the scene's integrity and internal logic. The result? Never-before-imagined worlds come alive, entire communities emerge, and comic possibilities are realized.
ShawnMikael(s) is the two-time winner of the Harrisburg Comedy Improv Throwdown, and this summer, the troupe performed as part of the 2011 Capital Fringe Festival, playing to a sold-out audience and garnering 5-star reviews.
