  • Laugh for a Lincoln featuring Full Love Throttle and Human Fireworks

    Full Love Throttle

After working together since 1991, Greg Tavares and Brandy Sullivan (both of The Have Nots!) decided it was time to do a 2-person show. It starts by taking information from one audience volunteer and then dives headfirst into characters and scenes that you won't soon forget.

    Human Fireworks

Human Fireworks is Charleston's only group performing the long form improv style known as The Harold. Every show begins with a warning that "it's about to get weird," they delivers. Combining abstract movement and sound with inspired scene work, the 5 person team creates a unique hilarious experience that stretches the boundaries of an improv show.

  • Laugh for a Lincoln featuring Neckprov and Little Miss Codependent

    Neckprov

Come join Skeeter, Wild Man, Jackson, Carlene, R.L., Ray Ray and Chevron for an evening for rednecks and those who are curious about rednecks. This long form will weave a tapestry of stereotypical redneck situations and not so stereotypical situations into a gut busting show that will have you waving the stars and stripes and yelling "Free Bird." What if rednecks were at the signing of the Declaration of Independence? What if they were the brains behind such great inventions as the telescope, duck pate or the atom bomb? Come find out! Someone is gonna burn down their trailer house trying to deep fry some road kill. It's all improv based on your suggestions. Rednecks don't write scripts.

    Little Miss Codependent

Friends and members of Mary Kay Has a Posse, Jessica Mickey and Brandy Sullivan ask the audience a couple of questions and then create tons of characters and scenes. It gets a little nutty and is always fun.

  • Laugh for a Lincoln featuring Moral Fixation and T99 Jam

    Moral Fixation

Moral Fixation is a 2 man long form improv show birthed from the fertile loins of Lee Lewis and Greg Tavares.  They take one audience member suggestion and through personal revelation and virtuoso scene work weave an intricate tapestry of artistic deliciousness.  It's improv at the speed of brilliance! The perfect show for those who like their comedy a little on the meaty side...

    T99 Jam

Theatre 99 is Charleston's home for improv comedy and has shows all year long.  They have over 40 members of their acting company.  This show will feature the best performers in the T99 company doing a big ole' long form improv jam.

  • Laugh for a Lincoln featuring Cats Hugging Cats and 3 Men and a Little Lady

    Cats Hugging Cats

This five person improv group finds the comedy in the mundane. Scenes start out normally but soon become ticking time bombs of insane hilarity. A show may start out with a scene about a parent teacher conference or a board meeting, but by the end chickens have risen up and taken over the world and cavemen file class action lawsuits. If that is not enough -- everyone in the show is totally hot as shit.

3 Men and a Little Lady

What weighs 875 pounds, is 23 and a half feet tall, and full of chuckles? Three Men and a Little Lady! With a white board full of your suggestions and minds full of wit, Three Men and a Little Lady are out to make you laugh! Join David Appleton, Jason Groce, Betsy Harper and Tommy Hutchins as they prove that comedy really does come in all sizes. And who said size doesn't matter?

  • Chicago Deep Dish Comedy featuring Michael Pizza and Tulle (Jet Eveleth and Sarah Fineout)

    Michael Pizza

Michael Pizza is a group of four best friends who love to have fun onstage, believe in the art of improv and always heighten each other's ideas into a cohesive piece of work. After being named "Best New Improv Ensemble" by Chicago Magazine, Michael Pizza is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new teams in the city. Each week they use their "boyish, overgrown charm" to create a unique and interesting show. Fast or slow, Michael Pizza is always supportive, committed and ready to follow the fun.

Tulle (Jet Eveleth and Sarah Fineout)

Jet Eveleth and Sarah Fineout are excited about bringing down the improvised show Tulle to Charleston this January. The two have performed together for years in the shows Panache, The Barb Lameter Show, Flames and Blazes and the improvised musical, The Deltones. They created the long-form comedy show Tulle, with the intention of diving deeper into flawed and vulnerable characters in the most honest and playful way. These woman set out to follow their fear by creating tension that only truth can sustain, and it's all from your suggestion.

"You really have to hang on to every word-- rich with emotion and humor." -The Chicago Reader

"Very funny, with a razor sharp sense of timing.""- New City

  • The Kick Ass Comedy Show featuring The Two-Man Movie and POSE Magazine

    The Two-Man Movie

See everything you'd expect from a movie improvised live on stage -- dramatic camera angles, tense editing, high-flying action sequences and tender denouement.  Never-before-seen movies created from audience suggestions that span every era, every style, and every genre, but always better than anything you'd see at a multiplex.
