Rules and Regulations  

-Contest opens on Dec. 1, 2005 and all entries must be in by Jan. 9, 2006 at 5PM.

-Entries can be mailed to 1049 Morrison Dr., Charleston, SC 29403 or brought in person to the City Paper at the same address.

-Entries can be in form of sketches, stand-up…

-Contestants can submit their entries on VHS or DVD

-Entries are limited to 1 per person

-Must be 18 or older

-Videos will not be returned and are destroyed after the contest

-And the most important rule…Videos must contain a copy of the Charleston City Paper within the last 3 months!
 

Judging
 
-The judges will be comprised of Charleston City Paper staff, local comedians, or Comedy Festival Sponsors.
 
-Entries will be judged based on contestant’s creativity, originality and obviously whether it’s funny or not
 
-Judges will choose top three and those winners will be notified by Jan. 16, 2006.
 

Prizes
 
1st Place: Open pass to all festival events.

Runner Up: Wins a date with Bill Davis or choice of 2 tickets for 2 festival events.

*By submitting an entry, participants agree to have the Have Nots! and Charleston City Paper broadcast their entry during the festival or at the after-party venues.
